THE NOR-VISE - This is the cornerstone of the our system, more than just another "rotary vise" the NOR-VISE provides us with capabilities that no other
fly tying vise can offer. In addition to securing any hook in a perfect position for true centerline rotation, it locks at precise 90° increments and can also be positioned at any angle in between, most importantly it SPINS opening up a whole new world of fly tying techniques.

 

THE AUTOMATIC BOBBIN - This is a Key part of the NOR-VISE system, the Nor-Vise Automatic Bobbin automatically rewinds itself to the perfect "tying point" and will hang suspended when released exactly where you leave it. Being able to place the bobbin on the Thread Post provides unobstructed access for using the NOR-VISE itself to wrap or spin on materials, dubbing etc or the use of traditional manual techniques without fighting a "bobbin holder".

 

THE LAMP/MAGNIFIER - One way to really tie better flies is to improve what you are seeing. The NOR-VISE Lamp/Magnifier combines a bright, cool,shadow free, full spectrum light source with an excellent 3X glass magnifier positioned in the center of the fixture. The long life bulbs can be replace (about $6) if needed, and the Magnifier has a flip up lens cover to keep it out of the way unless called for. Mounts secure to the Thread Post, out of the way with a long cord and switch, this is the perfect fly tying lamp.
