Likely to be the best choice for all around performance, the Small In-Line Jaws are capable of handling any and all fly tying hooks. If the bulk of your tying is for fresh water, or on size #2 and smaller hooks, this is your best choice. Note: If you have an older version of the Nor-Vise with an integral Front Hub/ Arbor it is still possible to change from one design to another. Your "Conversion" can be ordered with a new arbor. To change; remove the black "O" ring, and the Rear Hub will slide off, next remove the the exposed drive disc, now the Arbor and Front Hub assembly will slide out of the ball bearings and can be replaced with your new arbor and Conversion. You can also send in your vise when ordering a new Conversion and have it updated by adding the Friction Clamp and the more convenient changing system.
